The Institute for the Redesign of Learning: Mft/Lcsw Therapist

We are looking for Marriage and Family Therapists or Licensed Clinical Social Workers to work in the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles region.

This opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week.Our Therapists ensure that those most vulnerable in our society receive much-needed support by providing essential clinical assessments and contribute insightful, practical, and meaningful information in the development of individual therapy, family therapy, and group treatment plans to address mental, emotional, and family disorders and dysfunction.

You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered :master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy/Social Work or in a related Human Behavioral fieldMarriage and Family Therapist/Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate or Marriage and Family Therapist/Licensed Clinical Social Worker Field Studentproficient in the use of modern office technology, equipment, and procedures including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, basic email, internet, and be able to learn and adapt to new systems and softwaredemonstrates interest in furthering professional development and training experience with individuals and/or families with exceptional needsmust clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJa current TB Test (within the last 2 months)access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel to more than one site on any given daypossess proof of business-related insurance (with 50,000/100,00 minimum limits)Preferred qualifications include :MFT/LCSW License issued by the California BBShave a valid California Driver’s License in good standingCPR/1st Aide Certificationbilingual English/Spanish or Bilingual English/Asian Pacific language.As a Marriage and Family Therapist at IRL, you will:provide clinical services including individual/group therapy, family therapy, assessments, and treatment planning in an outpatient setting.provide clinical documentation to meet all County, State, and Federal documentation requirements.schedule individual therapy weekly and family therapy appointments as needed with child/youth and parent at times that the client can attend.plan, develop, and provide interventions that address child/youth symptoms and behaviors related to mental health issues.address crisis issues and assess for self-harm while developing a safety plan with child/youth and parent when required.If you enjoy working with children and are interested in employment with us, please apply by sending your resume to the following Career Agent.Greg Cohengcohen@tesidea.comABOUT IRLThe Institute for the Redesign of Learning (IRL) is a multi-service, community-based Special Education, mental health, job development, and training facility for special needs children, students, and adults.
