You will work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your talent will contribute to changing people’s lives.The Registered Nurse is based in our San Diego office.Responsibilities include:Contribute to physicians’ effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician orders.Coordinate care for assigned patients following the required RMA protocols and procedures, including the appropriate workflow chart processes and performance benchmarksDocument patient care services in EMR systemEstablish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concernsResolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategiesPatient education in regard to treatment plan and medications through e-learning and other patient education availableFollow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis resultsAssist physician with in-office procedures as neededMaintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentallyOperative procedures include:Egg retrievalsEmbryo transfersRequirements:BSN Degree strongly preferred; active RN license without limitations requiredStrong clinical skills and a minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience is required; prior experience in post-surgical, operating room, urology or intensive care healthcare preferredBCLS and ACLS requiredHigh energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are requiredExcellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills required to manage sensitive patient situation properlyResourceful and well organized; committed to detail and follow-upAbility to work independently, demonstrate good judgment and remain composed under stressMust be available for weekend rotation and some holidaysIVI-RMA offers a comprehensive full-time benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance OptionsPaid Time Off & 8+ Paid HolidaysCompany Paid Life Insurance, Long Term Disability & ADFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramRetirement 401K PlanOptional benefits including STD, Life & AD Buy-up plans & more.About Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA)RMA is the U.S.-based network of fertility clinics that are part of IVI-RMA Global.
