JOB SUMMARY: Service existing customers by supporting our companies materials, equipment and techniques.
Promote our full range of products and services to existing and prospective customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 40% Visit or call existing customers and confirm that they are happy with our products andservices.
Present products and services that the account does not currently purchase including new products and promotions.
Make basic repairs to equipment.
Sell CAD-CAM equipment.35% Visit or call non-customers and present the features and benefits of our companies materialsand equipment, including CAD-CAM.5% Attend trade shows, display and sell materials and equipment.5% Recruit part-time commission-only sales representatives to support selling efforts5% Update CRM with contact results, submit expense reports and time cards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Technical Sales Representative may have supervisory responsibilities if they are successful in recruiting part-time commission-only sales representatives.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit, stand, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES USED: Ability to operate a telephone, computer, printer, fax machine, scanner and photocopier.
Ability to operate a PC computer with Windows software including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The employee is subject to occasional noise, hazards, and atmospheric conditions.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Required: 2-years of college, proven sales results and ability to travel 70%.
Preferred: College degree, knowledge of dental terms, experience with dental laboratory technology, strong mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of dental CAD-CAM systems a plus.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Valid Driver?s License and ability to access transportation to travel to dental laboratories and Trade Shows as necessary.
