• Primarily Mon – Fri 8-5

The Supervisor of Respiratory Care:

• Supervisesthe clinical and technical performance of respiratory care staff throughout allareas of inpatient and acute care.

• Establishesclinical and technical scope of practice for inpatient and acute care inconjunction with respiratory care services manager and medical director.Participates in selection, training, evaluating, and counseling of respiratorycare practitioners.

• Assistswith preparation of operating and capital budgets. Applies management andleadership principles consistent with Asante guiding values to ensure excellentservice is provided to all patients and customers of the Respiratory Caredepartment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience 

• 5years’ experience in respiratory care, consisting of at least 4 years as a leadrespiratory practitioner in adult , neonatal intensive care, or cardiopulmonarydiagnostics.

Licensure/Certifications

Required:

*RRT: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

*RT-P: Respiratory Therapist Permanent (RT-P) by theOregon Respiratory Therapy Licensing Board

*BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS)

*ACLS: Advanced CardiovascularLife Support (ACLS)

Preferred:

*Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care

*CPFT: Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT)

*RPFT: Registered PulmonaryFunction Technologist (RPFT)
