– California, Los AngelesJob SummaryAECOM Program & Project Management Business Unit is currently seeking to hire a highly qualified Senior Project Manager (SPM) to support Healthcare Programs/Projects.

Projects typically involve planning, design, construction, commissioning and closeout of projects.

Must have experience with Design/Build Inpatient Tower OSHPD projects exceeding $300M in total capital cost.

This key leadership and high-profile role presents an excellent career development.The SPM, working closely and in concert with the client, will serve in a key role directing day-to-day project and construction management responsibilities and will be instrumental to the successful development, implementation and delivery of the project.

This position will be based in Los Angeles, CA.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Consultant Selection:Work with the client to identify types of consultants required to successfully execute the work.Assist the client with the solicitation, screening, and selection of other consultants and builders.Project Delivery Strategy:Assist the client in the delivery strategy including contract type, phasing, bid packaging, constructability, and temporary operations.Staffing:Assist with the identification of required staff for the project including solicitation for positions, interviews, and selection of highly performing team members.Manage the team throughout the project.Mentoring/Training:Provide opportunities for staff to grow.Provide mentoring in key management qualities such as situational awareness, knowledge of contracts, standard of care, and schedule and cost management.Communications:Establish communications necessary to the client, public, local businesses, politicians, other agencies and the regulatory community.Provide frequent briefings to client and their project participants on key project milestones, issues, and budget.Jurisdictional Agencies: Assist owner, design, and builder teams with reviews by OSHPD and other jurisdictional agencies.Design Management:Assist the owner with understanding the advantages and disadvantages of design elements on their projects when requested.Construction Management:Provide daily oversight of on-site construction activities assisting as the liaison between healthcare and construction operations, including the safe and well planned shut downs, cut overs, and transitions.Project Controls:Interpret and understand all project controls information including scheduling, budgeting, cost control, cash flow, QA/QC, risk analysis, and document control for management decisions.Change Management:Oversee the processes for change management including required notifications, communications to client, and resolution with consultants and builders.Medical Equipment:Provide oversight of the necessary infrastructure required for medical equipment (and FF&E) including confirming with design and builder teams that support, backing, utilities, and the like are procured and installed in a timely manner.Safety:Ensure participants have specific and well-developed safety, infection control, and health plans for working around and within healthcare environments.Other duties as may be assigned.AboutAECOMAt AECOM , we believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone.
