– Preclinical Development The successful candidate will lead the advancement of lead biologics molecules from preclinical development to early clinical development.
The candidate will be a critical member in steering and advancing the Tavotek pipeline.
He/She works with the drug discovery team to ensure a robust and innovative portfolio to address unmet medical needs.
Qualifications: A PhD in pharmacology, toxicology, biology, or related discipline No less than 15 years of relevant experience in preclinical biologics drug development Proven accomplishment in advancing large molecule to successful IND submission in the areas of oncology and autoinflammatory diseases Experience in preparing IND documents, participating in regulatory interactions and responses to regulatory agencies.
Partner with the clinical development team to build early clinical development plans Desired Skill and Requirements: Experience with biologics, protein-based drugs, and Phase 1 Clinical Trials Identify and manage external CROs and CDMOs effectively to support development programs Knowledge of general GLP and GMP principles and compliance requirements Knowledge of PK, toxicology, drug manufacturing, and regulatory expectations for IND submission Experience in leading the effort in preparing and submission of IND dossier A team player with interpersonal skills Excellent communicator with strong oral and written skills Outstanding ability to multitask with proficient project and time management skills Collaborate closely with senior team members to establish ‘thinking outside of the box’ development strategy Tavotek Biotherapeutics, located in the Spring House Innovation Park, Spring House, PA, is a global biotechnology company which discovers and develops biologic drugs for the treatment of cancer, autoimmune diseases, and other therapeutic areas.
