Role Description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will:

  • Work with the Early Intervention population
  • Conduct speech-language assessments to determine eligibility for speech services
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Provide training and education to family/caregivers
  • Carry out goals provide from Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Keep detailed records of client condition, care plans, therapies, and progress
  • Report client progress to appropriate parties

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure for the state of California
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Part time (minimum of 5 hours per week)
  • Position is for in-home services with occasional clients that request Telehealth therapy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience working with children is preferred
  • Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is beneficial but not required
  • CFYs are welcome to apply
  • Pay is based on experience

Home Health areas of service include: Bellflower, Norwalk, Artesia, Cerritos, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, and Torrance
