– 101.46Job Duties:In collaborative practice with the Medical Director of the Frank ClarkUrology outpatient clinic operations and the CAO, Director of Operations and the attending physician, theSenior Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing clinicalassessment, patient care management and treatment services for the Departmentof Urology under the general supervision of attending physician.
The Department of Urology services includegeneral urology, urologic oncology, andrology, pediatric urology, kidneytransplantation, and pelvic reconstruction surgery.
The Sr.
PA employed by theDepartment of Urology will evaluate patient, reviewing medical history, andperform an appropriate physical exam inan ambulatory setting.
Incumbent will consultwith attending physician as appropriate.
The Sr.
PA will be responsible forcommunication and feedback with patients, families, referring physicians andattending physicians .
Incumbent must be self directed and function withminimal direct supervision.The Physician Assistant functions independently within defined scope ofpractice.
Medical director and other faculty are available for clinical supervisionof daily clinical and patient care activities.
Works in conjunction withDirector of Operations and CAO.Job Qualifications:Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Program -requiredActive CA Physician Assistant license -requiredCertification as Certified Physician Assistant through AAPA

– preferredMinimum of 2-5 yrs experience as a mid-level provider in a urology setting
– preferredCurrent BLS certification from ARC or AHA
