·Licensure Requirements:Must have valid, clear and active California Pharmacy Technician license.
·Education:High School Diploma or equivalent
·Special Requirements: Bilingual in Mandarin, Tagalog, Lao, Khmer (Cambodian), Korean or Spanish NOT Required – Highly Preferred
·Years of Experience:1-2 years of Medical Center experience highly Preferred Newly graduated Pharmacy Technicians are welcome to apply
·Schedule:Full-Time Schedule Varies Day and Afternoon shifts
·Length of Assignment:Temporary to Permanent
·Pay:$15-$17.00-Depending on Experience

Some customer interaction, with Pharmacist support.Job Responsibilities:Preparation of medications for patientsReceiving and verifying the prescriptionsPricing and filling of prescriptionsObtaining pharmacist’s approvalCompleting patient paperwork related to the filling of prescriptionAssisting with insurance claims processing (usually a pharmacist will handle this, but help could be needed)Stocking and pricing of medications in inventoryEnsuring availability of drugs by delivering them to patients or facilitiesMaintaining pharmacy’s (and its patients’ employees’) safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies and regulationsAbout Rx reliefRx relief is a specialty staffing company providing supplemental pharmacy professionals for all pharmacy practice settings.
