We are looking to fill this position quickly!Pharmacy Technician Benefits:Health Insurance, with prescription coverageVision and Dental insurance401(k) and deferred compensation programsCafeteria plansJob Specifics and Requirements:Must be able to work in theLos Angeles, CAareaMust have valid, clear, and activeCalifornia Pharmacy Technicianlicense (PTCB not required, but preferred)High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience, Specialty Closed Door Pharmacy experience is a plusBackground and Drug ScreeningPharmacy Technician Responsibilities:Ensures the accuracy of prescription and patient data entered into various systems by verifying patient, drug, quantities, directions, day’s supply, insurance and physician data.Conducts a thorough benefits investigation and processes any necessary prior authorizations and/or appeals for pharmacy claims.Resolves aspects of specialty pharmacy insurances, including Medicare, Medicaid, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM), and Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO) and communicates with payors and advises patients or physician of results as needed.Communicates with patients in a professional and customer-friendly manner in order to schedule the delivery of new and refilled medications and supplies.Utilizes all pharmacy systems to review patient profile, enter changes and establish assessment schedules.Documents all patient/client/provider contact in appropriate computer systems.Other duties as assigned.Work Schedule:Time Schedule Varies – Day and Afternoon shifts availableMonday-Friday/ WeekendsTemporary to PermanentPharmacy Technician pay:$18-$20-Depending on ExperienceAbout Rx reliefRx relief is a specialty staffing company providing supplemental pharmacy professionals for all pharmacy practice settings.
