RN – Clinical Research (Clinical Translational Research Center) – Los Angeles, CA – Clinical

Responsibilities

The Clinical Research Nurse II will provide patient care for research subjects in the Clinical Translational Research Center and will be required to follow all UC, State and GCP policies as applied to the nursing profession. The RN should have the ability to care for research subjects according to the scientific protocols provided and follow the doctor’s orders. The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process and other input from the healthcare team members.

Qualifications


Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with BSN or MSN required. 
California RN license, required
BLS certification from ARC or AHA, required
2 years or greater of acute care hospital experience as an RN, required
Adult and pediatric experience strongly preferred
Experience administering chemotherapeutic agents with chemo certification strongly preferred

Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
