Overview: Pay: $30/hr
– $35/hr Benefits: PTO, sick and holiday leave, Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Short Term disabilityOptional benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) matching with employee participation in 401(k) plan Schedule:The Supervisor of Respiratory Therapists or designee, posts the schedule approximately 30 days in advance and is subject to change depending on mission requirements.
Each Therapist shifts will be scheduled for (6) twelve hour shifts from either 0630-1900 or 1830-0700 and (1) eight hour shift from either 0630-1500, 1430-2300 or 2230-0700 including one 30 minute meal break.Each contract respiratory therapist will be assigned a duty schedule on either night or day shift with an estimated number of shifts per schedule based on 12 month as follows:(Shift a) 0630-1900, Sunday
– Saturday(Shift b) 1830-0700, Sunday
– Saturday(Shift c) 0630-1500, Sunday
– Saturday(Shift d) 1430-2300, Sunday
– Saturday(Shift e) 2230
– 0700, Sunday
– SaturdayEach contract respiratory therapist will be assigned to a schedule comprised of the approximate number of shifts as defined below:(Shift a) 0630-1900 (approximately 72 shifts per year)(Shift b) 1830-0700 (approximately 72 shifts per year)(Shift c) 0630-1500 (approximately 10 shifts per year)(Shift d) 1430-2300 (approximately 4 shifts per year)(Shift e) 2230-0700 (approximately 10 shifts per year) Responsibilities: Perform complex respiratory procedures with minimal supervision.Participate with physicians, nurses and other staff in planning respiratory treatment, with great reliance on the individual’s knowledge of the equipment.Provide emergency or critical respiratory care.
Qualifications: Degree/Education: Associates Degree.
Graduate from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Possess certification as Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).Experience: One year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist after graduation.Candidate must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19 and able to provide documentation of such to perform in this position except in cases where is it is excluded by any applicable laws and/or approved accommodations.
