Respiratory Care Practitioner I, PIH Health Good Samaritan, Los Angeles, Full Time, 12 Hour, Night Shift

– Whittier, PIH Health Hospital
– Downey and PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital, 27 outpatient medical locations, a multi-specialty medical (physician) group, home healthcare services, and hospice care, as well as heart, cancer, women’s health, urgent care, and emergency services.

Responsible for independently utilizing respiratory care therapy to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures.

Delivers individualized quality respiratory care services through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, and other departments.

Responsible for responding to all code blue/emergency situations in the hospital and acts as Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner in the absence of the Lead.

Complies with the State of California standards for Respiratory Care Practitioners.

Required Skills
Current California RCP license
CRT by the NBRC
BLS
ACLS
PALS
LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment

Required Experience
1
– 3 years in Respiratory Care
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking skills
Problem-solving skills
Computer skills
