24-Hour Medical Staffing Services, LLC is hiring an experienced Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse (RN SDU) to join our growing team of healthcare professionals!

13 weeks

QUALIFICATIONS:
Current State Registered Nurse (RN) License
Must have at least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute hospital setting as an RN SDU.
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: post cath, day 3 post CABG, pacers, OB patients that are not ready to deliver and need to be monitored more closely – nurse will only have to take care of mother, CHF, GI bleeds, DM, homeless, malnourished, skin issues, trauma, co-morbidities, altered mental status, SI patients that need to be cleared, MVC, head trauma, gunshot wounds, stabbings

Additional Notes: Travel experience preferred, must have stepdown nurses NOT tele nurses; prophylactic protocols for stroke and cardiac patients – they want travelers to be familiar

EOW, First to Float

Required Certification:

  • BLS – must be from AHA
  • ACLS – must be from AHA
  • NIHSS
