Registered Nurse (RN), Surgical Cardiovascular Progressive Care – $5,000 Sign On

Overview:*All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA*

As a nurse in our medical and surgical telemetry unit in the Cardiovascular service line, you will have unique opportunities to learn at every corner. If you have passion for improving the health of the Valley and its residents, you can make a difference here at the region’s safety net hospital, and the only area hospital with a destination therapy certification for Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) patients and certification for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) patients.

This is a high acuity unit that has 3 specialty types of patients including LVAD, PAH and post open hearts. We are looking for nurses committed to excellent patient care, while also being willing to take on a challenge and multitask in a fast paced environment.

This is a 49 bed, medical and surgical telemetry unit, with a 1:4 patient:nurse ratio. It’s a team environment looking for self-driven, highly-detailed nurses who communicate well.Qualifications:Education:
High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing School program OR become licensed by equivalency required

Licensure/Certification:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License required
LVNIVTX – IV Therapy Certification (LVN) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
