Registered Nurse (RN) Infectious Disease/Pulmonary – FT Nights ($5,000 to $7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS)

Grandview Medical Center is hiring a strong Registered Nurse for our Infectious Disease/Pulmonary team The ideal Infectious Disease/Pulmonary RN candidate will have a wide degree of creativity and latitude in order to provide nursing care for patients at various levels of acuity.

Apply now to learn more Responsibilities: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.

Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.

Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.

Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, concurrently performing a variety of tasks Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Requirements: Requires an associate’s degree and an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.

Familiarity and experience with standard Med/Surg concepts, practices, and procedures is highly preferred Grandview Medical Center, a 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility, is located in Birmingham, Ala., and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
