Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Responsibilities:Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is adding additional positions to the Registered Nurse Float Team. Our focus is to deliver high quality patient care throughout CMC on diverse Units such as Med Surg, Ortho, Cardiac, Pediatrics, Rehab, Neuro, ED, Burn, Progressive Care and ICU. The Float Team conducts patient focused care through excellent critical thinking, communication, clinical judgment and collaboration as a member of the multidisciplinary team. The role is conducive to individuals who are easily adaptable, enjoy life-long learning, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
In this role you will be prepared to float to any department where you have achieved validated competency. The Float Team ensures your competency by providing education throughout the year in areas such as emergency, progressive care, critical care, and med/surg. Your assignments will change on a daily basis to promote learning and foster diversity in your nursing skill set. Float Team scheduling remains flexible to promote higher education achievement and an optimal work-life balance. The team is nurturing and supportive, and you will have all the resources of Community Regional Medical Center at your fingertips.
Qualifications:Minimum requirements include; Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program. Current RN license for the state of California, BLS. ACLS, and PALS certification completed within 6 months
Preferred requirements include; Bachelors of Science Nursing (BSN), current PALS, NIHSS certification

National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale Course must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job for the following departments: 01-60100 4ICU Medical, 01-60101 5ICU Trauma, 01-60102 Neuroscience ICU, 01-61704 Neuroscience 9W, 01-61780 ICU Stepdown(PCU), 01-70100 ED. Clovis: 02-70100 ED.
Fetal Monitoring certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job for the following departments: 01-74000 Labor & Delivery, 01-74003 Antepartum, 01-74004 OB Triage.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job for the following departments: 01-60500 PICU, 01-62900 Pediatric, 01-63800 Obstetrics, 01-74000 Labor & Delivery, 01-74003 Antepartum, 01-74004 OB Triage, 01-60700 NICU. Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job for the following departments: 01-61730 Oncology.
