Registered Nurse ARRMC (Short Stay Unit)
RN SHORT STAY UNIT
Union Position, Flexible work force, 0FTE, Variable Days
The Short Stay Unit at RRMC is made of 25 beds within a pre and post-surgical unit. We admit and prepare patients for various surgeries from open heart, GYN, urology, ENT and pediatric to name a few. As a dynamic nursing unit, we provide nurses the ability to make a difference while providing a comfortable and excellence surgical experience for our patients.
In our unit, you will have an opportunity to learn and grow your nursing skills within a fast paced and collegial team. With the ability to care for a variety of patients, from geriatric, adult to pediatric, you will educate, reassure and provide compassion to our surgical patients.
Qualifications
Education
· Associates Degree in Nursing required
· Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
· 2 years of recent peri-anesthesia/ambulatory surgery center or critical care/ED experience, within the last 3 years required
· Pre-op and Post-op experience preferred
· Charge RN experience preferred
License/Certification
· Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required
· Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
· CAPA, ACLS, PALS certification preferred
