Utilizing appropriate decision-making skills and exhibit competency in the technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills to independently and safely manage routine patient assignment.
You will establish a plan of care, set goals, determine priorities, and provides care within established standards of practice.8 or 10-Hour Shifts with Variable Start Times Operating Room concentrates on four (4) areas of expertise: Spine, Weight loss, Orthopedics, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Shared governance model to encourage staff engagement.
Six (6) OR Suites, Conducts approximately 300 cases per month.Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with surgeons and anesthesiologists continuously and as needed about patient conditions Participate in performance improvement activities Assess the operating room for equipment functioning and readiness Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the surgical operating team are met Monitor, position and assist patients during procedures Patient-centered care approach to help patients feel respected, involved and empowered.Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital is an EEO employer.
