The Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center offers a full spectrum of treatments ranging from traditional surgery to minimally invasive surgical techniques. Plastic surgery patients come to Cedars-Sinai because they know that emphasis is placed on a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and minimally invasive techniques are used whenever possible. Our plastic surgeons work closely with all of the programs and centers at Cedars-Sinai, including the Breast Cancer Program, the Weight Loss Center, Pediatric Surgical Services, Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedics and others. We are seeking a highly professional, skilled and compassionate CNII to join our state-of-the-art Plastic Surgery program. Essential Duties: As our next full-time CNII, you will be responsible for working under the Supervising Physician in a fast-paced clinical environment on the following patient-care functions. Provide pre-op and post-op assessment of patients Administer and/or assist in follow up care Qualifications: Educational Requirements: Assoc. Degree/College Diploma- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (state accredited program)- Preferred Licenses: RN State License California State RN License Upon Hire Basic Life Support BCLS Certification Upon Hire Other Competencies, as required by your specialty unit (ex. ACLS, PALS, fetal heart monitoring) Experience: 1 year For external hires, acute care experience in their specialty for new hires. Promotion to Clinical Nurse II is automatic after completion of one (1) year of clinical experience and a satisfactory performance appraisal at a Clinical Nurse I level.
