Busy Ear, Nose Throat and Allergy Practice in Torrance CA is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills, pleasant speaking voice and demeanor and excellent communication skills. The RN will work closely with our ENT providers to provide allergy services to both children and adults and triage calls to assist patients who have clinical questions or concerns. The ideal candidate is someone who can multitask, handle a high volume of patients, be self-motivated and willing to learn all aspects of Allergy and ENT. This position requires both in person and over the phone interactions so communication and customer service skills are a must. 



  • Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
  • Triage in the office and by phone, provide pre and pre-operative care instructions, chart conversations in the patients EHR
  • Handle pharmacy inquiries and patient refill requests
  • Prepares exam room for allergy testing and injecting and cleans room after completion
  • Performs allergy skin testing and injections
  • Provide treatment recommendations, develop and implement treatment plans and coordinate treatment with staff providers
  • Mix allergy vials for both SCIT and SLIT therapy
  • Maintains vials for patients and/or sends out vials as required
  • Maintains patient allergy treatment records, files and encounter forms
  • Maintains allergy supplies and ordering
  • Educate patients on plan of care, immunotherapy such as antihistamines, signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, and how to use an auto-injector
  • Verify emergency supplies and equipment and logs them monthly
  • Handle emergent medical situations
  • Assists with clinical development of internal and external marketing for allergy department growth
  • Track patient compliance, will ensure patients progress by following up with the patient and ensuring medication is picked up on a timely basis
  • Obtain authorizations for services
  • Responsible for implementing goals and objectives of the company pertaining to the clinic’s productivity
  • Direct patient care, including patient assessments, vital signs, function as a back-up for clinic team members, as needed. 
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
  • All other duties as assigned


  • Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
  • CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
  • Two years of experience working in an Allergy practice
  • Strong written and verbal communication
