Position Summary
Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, located in Medford, is a 378-bed regional referral and trauma center featuring the latest medical technology and clinical expertise–all administered with a patient-focused philosophy. Our hospital team delivers nationally-recognized heart and vascular care, orthopedic services, and cancer care, as well as a comprehensive range of other key services including neurology and neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, rehabilitation services, work health, diabetes care, hospice services, a primary stroke center, an accredited hospital-based sleep center, and the regions only neonatal intensive care unit.
Our Cardiovascular Recovery Unit is a 14-bed recovery unit for angiograms, stents, and pacemakers. As a RN in this department, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within a cutting-edge department
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred
Experience
- One year acute care experience – OR – completion of New Grad orientation within the Cardiovascular Recovery unit at Asante is required
- The ability to rapidly admit, prep, educate, and recover elective procedural/interventional outpatients and inpatients in a fast-paced setting also required
License/Certification
- RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
- BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified by the AHA required upon start
- CSRN: Certified Sedation Registered Nurse, preferred
- RCIS: Registered Cardio Invasive Specialist, preferred
