POSITION SUMMARY The Cardiac Center is a combined unit with 40 beds in our Heart Center and 12 in our Outpatient Observation Unit.

Nurse to patient ratios are 4:1
– 6:1 for the Heart Center and 3:1
– 4:1 for the Outpatient Observation Unit.

The staff on these units are very engaged in a Shared Governance model of leadership.
