World-renown dental clinic is seeking an experienced dental hygienist to join our team in Beverly Hills, California. The position is temporary with the potential to grow with the office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services to our patients, including dental cleaning, patient education, and preventative care. Responsibilities: – Conduct dental hygiene assessments and provide treatment recommendations to patients. – Perform dental cleanings, polishing and debridement to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth and gums. – Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as required or requested. – Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and interpret results. – Provide patient education on oral health, including oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and lifestyle factors that impact oral health. – Assist the dentist during procedures as needed. – Maintain patient records, including charting and documentation of treatment plans and progress. – Keep the dental practice clean and organized, including sterilization of equipment and instruments. – Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations. – Collaborate with other dental professionals in the practice to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Requirements: – Associate’s degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited program – Current state license to practice in California – Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to educate and motivate patients to maintain good oral health. – Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. – Professionalism and attention to detail. – Experience working with high net worth individuals and celebrity clientele, being able to confidently preform with discretion. – Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA regulations.
