We are currently seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a position in Los Angeles, California.

JOB TITLE: Radiation Therapist
SCHEDULE: 40 hrs./week
HOURS: 8 hours a day; Monday – Friday
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA
Requirements:
*Certification by the State of California for Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist issued by the Department of Health Services
*Current ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy Technologist
*Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency
*In-depth knowledge of physics and mathematics, understanding of the medical terminology
*Administers ionizing radiation for the cure or palliation of cancer patients.
*Display professional conduct essential to the wellbeing of the radiation oncology patient.
*Demonstrate effective written communication skills; Maintain accurate and detailed treatment chart documentation.
*Demonstrate effective verbal communication skills in the clinical setting.
*Observe the clinical progress of the radiation oncology patient, use clinical decision making skills to recognize and report any signs of complications.
*Utilize treatment accessories to accurately reproduce the radiation treatment.
*Safely and effectively operate a variety of computerized simulation and treatment machines.

*Must have minimum one (1) year of work experience
*CPR Card from American Heart Association OR American Red Cross.
*Current PPD/TB or Chest X-Ray (within last 12 months)
*MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B – Vaccination Records or Titers
*Health Clearance (within last 12 months)
