Medical Device manufacturer in the greater South Bend, IN area has immediate need for a Quality Manager.
This is a contract manufacturing facility that produces custom products.
This is a fast-paced, highly-regulated plant.
The Quality Manager will lead a 30-person team in the Quality Department.
Need a strong, organized leader who can manage a fast-paced department.
Qualified candidates must have BS degree.
Position requires at least 5 years Quality Management experience along with at least 3 years experience in medical device manufacturing.
Knowledge of Quality Standards for medical device products is a MUST.
A background in high-mix / low-volume contract manufacturing is a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills.
This is a “working manager” role that will spend a lot of time on the production floor interfacing operators and technicians, working on CAPA’s, and interfacing customers.
Additionally, the Quality Manager serves as part of the site leadership team and needs to be comfortable giving executive level presentations.
