This nurse leadership offers a $5,000 WELCOME bonus Job Summary: The Quality Assurance and Infection Preventionist Nurse applies knowledge and experience by offering guidance pertaining to infection control, skin assessments, safety and resident rights, training, education, etc.
Assists with development, implementation and modification of policies and procedures.
Conducts system reviews, audits, data collection and creates reports to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
Leads and participates in QAPI (Quality Assurance Process Improvement) program, taking a proactive approach to quality care and services with engagement of residents, family members and staff.
Reviews unresolved issues/concerns and any other areas that remain out of compliance from prior meetings to develop a timeframe for correction.
Qualifications: Must hold current Registered Nurse (RN) with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain state specific license.
Infection Preventionist Certification; if not currently obtained, must be obtained within first six months of employment.
Demonstrates leadership ability.
