We are looking for competent psychiatric nurse practitioners capable of effectively delivering mental health interventions for patients with ADHD. The PMHNP will be responsible for conducting initial and follow-up consultations for ADHD patients and assist with diagnosis, treatment, and medication refills. Kindly note that in-person sessions may be obligatory based on state-specific regulations.
This is a hybrid role. Our providers see patients virtually as well as in-person at office locations located within the metro area.
*Responsibilities:*
Our PMHNPs work under supervision of our Lead NPs and Medical Directors and in accordance with established company policies and procedures as well as within the State and Federal guidelines, whichever is more stringent.
* Conduct in-person, telephonic, and video consultations with a patient
* Assess the patient and determine the diagnosis
* Formulate, administer, and monitor an appropriate treatment plan
* Prescribe and manage appropriate psychiatric medication regimen
* Provide the most appropriate and evidence-based psychotherapies, counseling, and integrative therapy interventions
* Educate patients and families about ADHD and other mental health disorders
* Assist with referrals, when needed
* Evaluate patient progress in collaboration with other health care providers during the treatment course
* Manage your patient’s medication regimens you prescribe and adjust medication and dosages as deemed clinically appropriate and within standard medical practice.
* Respond to EHR messages, refill requests, and conduct occasional remote follow-up appointments with your patient panel
* Provide Unparalleled clinical customer service through prompt and empathetic care delivery of Done patients
* Adhere to Done’s platform guidelines and policies and complete all required training
* Notify Done stakeholders of any schedule changes in scheduled coverage adhering to Done’s attendance policies
* Participate in On-Call Coverage
* Maintain and show proof of current State licensure, DEA, CDS (where applicable) and other required State and Federal requirements for clinical practice and provides duplicate for personnel file
* Maintain continuing education requirements for continued medical practice in the State(s)
* Ensure all documentation is dated, timed, legible, and signed at required timeframes
* Keep patient information (Protected Health Information-PHI) confidential and respects patient’s rights to privacy (HIPAA),
* Provide software and operational feedback to Done’s in-house medical and operations teams to improve products, workflows, and care delivery
*Requirements/ Qualification*
* Valid PMHNP certificate in one or more states
* At least 1 year of outpatient practice
* Valid DEA certificate, CDS (where applicable) and/or other required licensure/certifications/CE
* ANCC Board Certification (PMHNP)
* No active malpractice investigations.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to work in a fast-moving, high-growth work setting.
* Comfortable commuting to a local work site to conduct initial appointments and follow up care as required by law, and as needed as scheduled and for coverage
