We’re seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Los Angeles, California. Now interviewing for our July, August and September 2023 cohorts!
The Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a full-time position (you choose between 30-40 hours per week). This position offers a virtual schedule. You’ll provide initial evaluations, ongoing medication management and brief supportive therapy for patients as part of the outpatient prescribing team, made up of psychiatrists and NPs/PAs. You’ll also practice medication management responsibilities to include 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow ups (with a maximum of 5 intakes/day in a standard 8 hour day), as well as 45-minute transfer appointments. The annual salary range for this role is $131,250 – $175,000 per year (based on selected clinical weekly hours of 30-40 and experience).

Our support team assists with: credentialing, insurance verification, revenue cycle management, refill assistance, prior authorizations, pharmacy interactions, patient paperwork and forms, and IT systems support
- You’ll receive competitive compensation, including paid administrative time, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k match, PTO, CEU support and more.

What We Look For In Our Prescribers
- Master’s degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Appropriate California state licensure: an active CA Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license is required (we are unable to hire those with other state licenses)
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required
- Residence in California required
- Active DEA license for Schedules 2-5
- 1+ years of independent experience in psychiatry, ideally in outpatient
- You have not opted out from Medicare.
- You have access to reliable and stable internet while working remotely.
- Familiarity with the Google Suite platform is a plus.
