Applicants that meet qualifications will receive an email with some additional questions from our Modern Hire systemWe are seeking a Monitor Tech 12 who will monitor electrocardiography according to established standards and practices.
Responsible for reviewing patients’ records to determine normal heart rhythms, monitoring current patterns and note any deviations.
Requisitions supplies, equipment, and services as directed.In this position you will have the following responsibilities:Implement and maintain established department, unit, and hospital policies, procedures, and objectives as well as improving organization performance program, safety, environmental, and infection control policiesPrioritize work and provides prompt and efficient serviceObserve cardiac monitors and documents rhythm strips in accordance with critical care standardsPromptly and accurately reports rhythm variances to the charge nurse and/or nurse responsible for the patient’s careRun strips and identifies rhythms at least every 8 hoursMaintain monitoring equipment, printers and supplies; reports equipment malfunction to Biomedical Engineering and charge nurseRequisition supplies and equipment, maintenance and repair services, and prepares related forms.
