Overview: Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Project Manager (Epic / Healthcare IT). *** Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship *** *************************************************************************************************************************** Location: Los Angeles, CA 90095 (100% Remote Acceptable)*** Duration: 3 months w/ possibility of extension Description:· Develops all associated Project documentation by collaborating with sponsors, management, technical team members and stakeholders.· Gather detailed business requirements. Should have a working knowledge of data mapping, systems integration techniques and overall understanding of database design/data modeling.· Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.· Develop test cases/scenarios, create test plans/schedules and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).· Facilitate meetings, provide project status updates and facilitate the flow of communications between various project teams.· Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other Stakeholders.· Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.· Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Effectively apply PM Lifecycle methodology and enforce project standards.· Resolves and/or escalates issues and conflicts in a timely fashion.· Use proven project management methodologies/techniques/tools to manage small and large projects; Waterfall, RAD, Agile, CMM, PMI, ISO.· Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project cycle.· Build, develop, and nurture business relationships vital to the success of the project. Qualifications:· Must have EPIC certification.· Min 3-5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in IT.· 2 – 3 years an IT Project Manager.
