Program Therapist – Lmft, Lcsw, Lpcc

Job DescriptionAs a Primary Therapist at ARC, you will carry a caseload and provide clinical treatment in the form of individual, family and group counseling.

You will also:Meet weekly with the team to collaborate and discuss treatment plansAttend treatment planning meetings, treatment review and goals setting groups, in-service trainings, general staff meetings and clinical retreatsInterface with insurance companies, providing appropriate clinical information to obtain initial certification and continuing stay certification as requiredHold on-call responsibility every three to four weeks to the facility to support with any HLOC transfers, AWOL, suicidal ideation and self-harm issues that may occur in the evenings and on weekendsComplete the biopsychosocial assessment for patients within one day of admissionMeet with clients within twenty-four hours of admission to establish therapeutic rapportMeet each client in individual sessions as clinically indicated, providing psychotherapeutic interventions to thoroughly educate each client to the CTP and its intent, target dates and revisionsIdentify treatment goals and write contracts specific to individual client needsWrite and facilitating the discharge summaryLead individual psychotherapy sessions, two times weekly for each clientConduct family psychotherapy sessions when appropriateCreate a written plan for continuing care (DC plan) and discharge summaryThis is a full-time salaried position.

Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.M.

to 5 p.M.

ARC has four different facilities all within a few blocks of each other.
