We are now seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our treatment team as a Full-Time Primary Therapist at Eating Disorder Center of California in Los Angeles. Our Therapists may be scheduled for evenings and weekends, in addition to weekdays, for the benefit of clients and their families.

 

Salary: $66,393.60 – $78,000

Summary of Benefits

Responsibilities Include::

  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy

  • Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers

  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management

  • Participating in discharge and aftercare planning

  • Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food

  • Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients’ intersecting identities

Qualifications::

  • Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum

  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)

  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful

  • Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices

CA regulations require all healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated.  In compliance with the state of CA regulations, all employees are required to provide documentation of full COVID-19 vaccination or furnish a completed mandatory declination form with qualified reason prior to start date.  Employees who are not vaccinated are required to provide negative Covid-19 test results on a weekly basis per CA regulations.
