Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee thebusiness and patient care support functions for the South Bay PeninsulaPulmonary and Specialty Care clinic in Torrance.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous demonstrated expertise in managing patient services and nursing staffing in environment with excess of 55,000 visits/year
- Skill and experience in TQA approach and implementation
- Skill in analyzinginformation, problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identifypattern and formulate conclusions
- Skill in setting prioritieswhich accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
- Accounting skills to plan,prepare and analyze complete revenue and expenses budgets
- Ability to establish andmaintain productive working relationships with Faculty, Residents, MedicalStudents and staff from various social, cultural and economic backgrounds
- Skill in verbalcommunications to clearly convey complex problems and proposals in both formaland informal situations
- Ability to creativelyintegrate competing demands of a multi-specialty setting into a productiveworking environment
- Ability to interactdiplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degreesof health
- Working knowledge ofresearch-oriented patient care systems
- Working knowledge ofUniversity policies and procedures to appropriately manage accounting systems,cashiering, risk management and personnel
Highly Desired:
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
