Child & Adolescent TelePsychiatry Outpatient Locums Job | Greater Los Angeles Area
Details/Requirements:
*Start ASAP and ongoing
*Two to three days/16-24 hours a week providing child & adolescent outpatient services at two locations.
*Some of this work will be done on site and some via TelePsychiatry.
*Will see patients of all ages, but they typically ask for the children to be school aged, 5 and up.
*Board Certification preferred, but willing to accept child trained Psychiatrists who are not boarded.
And will consider adult Psychiatrists who are experienced working with children ages 5 and up.
*Flexible regarding days/hours worked as long as the work is done between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
*No formal call.
*Two hours for initial evaluations and 30-45 minutes for medication follow-ups.
Follow-up appointment times are based on the complexity of the case.
For telepsychiatry, the follow up appointments are 30 minutes.
*Electronic medical record system
– so you must be computer literate.
*Takes approximately two to three weeks for credentialing.
*Client prefers six month minimum assignments.
