SUMMARY The Physician & Medical Staff Recruiter (“physician recruiter”) is responsible for managing the full life cycle physician, advanced practice clinician and billing provider (“provider”) recruitment process and hiring activities for Atrius Health.
The physician recruiter will assist departments and hiring teams via developing, coordinating, implementing and directing effective recruitment strategies to meet current and future staffing.
The physician recruiter will also partner with Atrius leadership and practice managers to ensure that quality provider candidates are sourced, matched appropriately and hired based on qualifications and culture fit.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS BA/BS in related field (or equivalent education, training or experience).
EXPERIENCE At least 5 years professional experience which includes at least 2-4 years’ experience in health care recruitment with significant interaction with physicians.
SKILLS Must be able to establish rapport and effective working relationships with physicians, advanced practice clinicians and practice leaders and administrators.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service/relations skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
Possesses the appropriate knowledge foundation to present the organization and the practice opportunity to a candidate.
Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, as well as the local and regional marketplace.
Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, discretion and decision-making consistent with the departmental and organizational objectives.
Ability to work with a high degree of independence and prioritize workflow.
Ability to provide back up in all areas to the Director of Physician & Medical Staff Recruitment.
