Select Physical Therapy in LOS ANGELES, CA is seeking a PRN (PER DIEM) physical therapist assistant (PTA) for our outpatient orthopedic center. We treat a diverse population of teens through geriatrics in an upbeat team environment. An ideal physical therapist assistant has previous outpatient orthopedic experience, but we have additional clinicians on staff able to support a new graduate physical therapy assistant with CA license in hand. We offer aquatics, vestibular, pelvic health, oncology and industrial rehabilitative services on top of general ortho and sports medicine. Our center also offers ergonomic evaluations and wheelchair evaluations as requested rounding out a truly diverse population for a dynamic licensed physical therapist assistant.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program.

- Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants
- State Physical Therapist Assistant License REQUIRED to start
