– 76.93Job Duties:Seeking a Physical Therapist with strong background and clinical expertise in orthopedic and neurologic conditions with varying patient demographics from adolescents to geriatrics.
Specialty experience with lymphedema or vestibular therapy preferred but not required.
Primary functions are to provide applicable physical therapy care for patients with various diagnoses in a fast paced outpatient setting.
Major duties include: patient evaluation and treatment, electronic medical record documentation, maintain expected productivity levels (including special assignments), special projects and duties as assigned.
The primary function is patient care, unless otherwise specified.
This candidate will be responsible for working with a physical therapist assistant and delegating patient caseloads as appropriate.Job Qualifications:Required: California Physical Therapy License or eligibility to work as such.
Experience with orthopedic and neurologic conditionsnecessary to successfully navigate this position.
Current BCLS certification.Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Skill in makingappropriate and effective decisions based on needs of the patient, priorities of the department, and the Medical Center and Department Policies and Procedures.
Demonstrates ability to establish an appropriate treatment plan, select appropriate treatment techniques, assess the results based upon synthesis of all available information, and the patients’ functional goals, with changes in the plan and timely discharge as indicated.Qualifications for Physical Therapist 2 title is based years of experience as a PT.
