The candidate must have a solid understanding of New York State Physical Education standards.
The candidate must also partake in collaboration with other colleagues and promote understanding and communication in a diverse learning and cultural environment.
Job Responsibilities Create daily lesson plans and learning activities based on New York State Standards.
Deliver high quality and engaging instruction.
Differentiate lessons when needed.
Evaluate student performance on tasks and adjust the lessons when necessary.
Maintain a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by following the procedures and policies set forth by the school’s handbook.
Demonstrate strong speaking and listening skills.
Possess the ability to teach and demonstrate activities.
Maintain order and discipline.
Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
Develop engaging and relevant lessons that allow the students to grow physically.
