– Vaccine ClinicsApply (d5.myworkdayjobs.com/ExternalUSCCareers/job/Los-Angeles-CA/Pharmacy-Technician—Vaccine-Clinics_REQ20097508/apply) School of Pharmacy Los Angeles, CaliforniaThe USC School of Pharmacy is seeking to hire pharmacy technicians to provide vaccine related services to sustain the community COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics operated through the school’s partnership with the City of LA.Job duties:+ Reconstitute / draw up vaccine doses into syringes under supervision of pharmacist+ Administer vaccinations under supervision of pharmacist+ Assist in ensuring full compliance with mitigation measures to limit virus spread (distancing, mask wearing, etc.)+ Assist with procedures for vaccine administration and post-administration surveillance are followed+ Perform other vaccine-related duties as needed+ Document patient appointments, screening forms, and vaccine administration records as needed+ Manage inventory, including vaccine supply and auxiliary kits as needed+ Able to work mornings, evenings, and/or weekends as neededRequired qualifications:+ Active pharmacy technician license in California+ Completion of approved immunization certification course (Training/Certification provided)+ Current CPR/ BLS certificationVaccination clinic sites: Lincoln Park and Dodger Stadium.Schedule/Hours:Monday – Saturday (varies); 8 hours per day/40 hours per weekShifts: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm; 6:00 am -2:00 pm; 1:00 pm – 9:00 pmMinimum Education: Specialized/technical training Minimum Experience: 1 year Minimum Field of Expertise: Completion of accredited pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience as per Board of Pharmacy technician regulations, sec.
