Pharmacy Drug Use Policy ManagerPosition Description: The Pharmacy Drug Use Policy (DUP) Manager will be collaborating with medical, nursing, pharmacy and healthcare team members on the development, maintenance and implementation of drug use policies, protocols and initiatives, drug information services and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. The Manager is also responsible for human resources management of the DUP team which consists of 5 Drug Use Policy Specialists and 2 Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists. Other responsibilities include but not limited to strategic planning for biologics and therapeutic advances; collaborating with medical staff in development of evidence based guidelines; evaluating new drugs for the formulary; development of content for the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meetings; serving as a resource to staff on complex therapeutic issues and target drug programs. Pharmacy Drug Use Policy Manager Requirements: Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA Pharm.D., post-graduate residency training preferred or equivalent experience Board certification in pharmacology preferred Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
