Pharmacy Director – Telecommute in CA

The Pharmacy Director is dedicated to the California Medicaid Program (Medi-Cal) and is a licensed Pharmacist in the State of California.  They will oversee and be responsible for all clinical and administrative Pharmacy activities.

This position is an integral part of the UnitedHealthcare Pharmacy team.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* if you are located within the State of California with some travel to Sacramento for Quarterly meetings and state audits.

  • Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives

  • May have segment-wide impact
  • Directs cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in California as required by contract
  • 3+ years of Clinical Pharmacy, Sales, or Account Management experience or combination thereof
  • 3+ years of experience in Managed Care Pharmacy either in a Health Plan or PBM
  • 1+ years of direct experience with Medicaid/Medicare plans
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
