Pharmacy Account Manager

Location: Anthem’s workplace of the future will be both physical and virtual with the number of sites optimized to promote access to diverse, top talent. The ideal candidate will live in Hawaii or the West Coast.

Responsible for managing day to day external client relationships, operations, and reaching internal health plan penetration goals through the use of strong preventative consultative skills.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Supports the clients through timely and accurate management and execution of all client benefit requests.
  • Manages the administration of contractual PG & SLA requirements and obligations.
  • Assist in the development of recommendations for outcomes-based savings, revenue opportunities and resolve complex operational issues across internal partners.
  • Lead and own client centric team meetings to review operational performance against client expectations and needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of related experience or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Pharmacy License or equivalent service in specialty Rx arena is strongly preferred.
  • PBM experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid preferred.
