Overview: Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part Time Patient Care Technician for Inpatient Oncology at Overlook Medical Center.
This is for the day shift, 7 pm-7:30 am, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities: Assisting patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressingObtaining and recording vital signs, weights, and heightsAssisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activitiesPerforming post mortem careMeasuring and recording I & OPerforming EKGs, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoringObserving and reporting changes in patients condition to the RNMaintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties assignedThrough the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care with a healing culture for the patient population served and their familiesCandidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence) in every aspect of their jobCandidate must have excellent communication and computer skills Qualifications: Education:A High school diploma or GED is Required Experience:previous healthcare experience or nursing student required About Us: Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined the best experience for our patients and their families.
