– Time] Summary: The Student Medical Education Coordinator will assist with the coordination of departmental services encompassing the student training programs.
This includes administrative support, marketing, recruiting, orienting new trainees and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Student Medical Education Coordinator will develop and maintain all rotation schedules and calendars per specialty-specific curricula as well as monitor and analyze evaluation data.
The incumbent will maintain all departmental personnel files of trainees.
Other HR administrative tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements: Education: A high school diploma; or Bachelor’s Degree in management, social science, or education is preferred.
Licensure/Certification: None Required Experience: Minimum one to three years practice experience in a Graduate Medical Education department in a teaching hospital Related educational employment, preferably in a health care field; previous background with recruitment.
Must possess excellent computer literacy (word processing, intranet, internet, email, creation of reports, charts and graphs) Must possess excellent organization and planning abilities.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
