A well-organized Ambulatory Surgery Center in Southern California is actively holding interviews to fill a key clinical leadership position—Operating Room Charge Nurse. The Surgery Center Charge Nurse will report to the Director of Nursing and lead daily clinical functions at this multi-specialty ASC that has five (5) operating rooms and two (2) procedure suites. The Charge RN will also provide patient care and staff education when needed.
The Outpatient Surgery Center Charge Nurse will manage patient flow, center accreditation (AAAHC, CMS etc) and provide breaks to staff as needed. As a lean organization, the Charge RN may be hands on and be called upon to Circulate in the Operating Suites; however, this is rare.
The Periopearative Services team provides same-day surgical care for:
- Orthopedics
- Total Joints
- Spine and Pain Management
- General Surgery
- ENT
- Podiatry
- Sports Medicine
- And much more
This Ambulatory Surgery Center is located in one of the most desirable parts of Southern California. Various shopping centers, restaurants and beaches surround the location. The Charge RN will enjoy the work-life balance that comes from working a convenient Monday through Friday schedule.
