Major dutiesinclude: patient treatment, completing all documentation requirements accuratelyand timely. Must maintain expected productivity levels (includingspecial assignments). The primary function is patient care, unless otherwisespecified. May be required to rotate between clinical areas and will berequired to participate in holiday and weekend coverage. Must commit to 2weekend days per monthJob Qualifications:Acute care experience preferred. Ability to effectivelycommunicate with patients and staff from varied cultural and socioeconomicbackgrounds. Ability to work as a member of the team, includingsharing knowledge, giving and receiving feedback, taking initiative to assistothers, problem solving and providing an atmosphere conducive tolearning. Ability to identify the need for and utilizeappropriate safety and/or emergency techniques, protection of patient lines anddrains and infection control.Completion of application process for COTA licensure/certification is required.
