What You’ll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll help patients regain independence in their own homes by improving their ability to perform daily activities and enhancing quality of life after illness or injury. You’ll work autonomously while remaining closely connected to a supportive clinical team.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate patient functional status and home environment
- Develop individualized treatment programs and goals
- Provide direct therapy and train patients in daily living activities
- Recommend and instruct on adaptive equipment or prosthetics
- Communicate regularly with referring physicians and care teams
- Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
- Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants, when applicable
- Participate in case conferences and discharge planning
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in California
- Registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical OT experience
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle
- Organized, compassionate, and skilled at working independently in diverse home environments

Compensation
We use a point-based compensation model. Each visit type has a point value, and your point rate determines your earnings. Example breakdowns at $90/point:
- Start of Care (2.5 points) = $225
- Resumption of Care (2 points) = $180
- Recert/Discharge with OASIS (1.5 points) = $135
- Routine Visit (1 point) = $90
- Full-Time Equivalent (30 points/week) = $2,700/week
Want to earn more? Clinicians can exceed 40–50 points/week based on availability and patient needs.
