The Occupational Therapist is a qualified professional who directs supervises, evaluates, and provides occupational therapy services to patients in their home, as prescribed by the attending physician. This position works under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.He/she is responsible for providing skilled therapy care to acutely and/or chronically ill patients in their homes; recording clinical and progress notes and coordinating other patient care activities/services to which he/she is assigned.The individual must have graduated from an occupational therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA, in collaboration with the American Association of Occupational Therapy.A minimum of two (2) years of acute care experience required; previous home care experience preferred.Must be currently licensed in California and registered by the Occupational Therapy Association.
