A List Therapy Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to treat patients in the Home Health setting in the Los Angeles Area. We thrive on providing exceptional services and evidence based patient-centric care to patients throughout Southern California.Clinicians choose their own schedule and coverage areas; streamline electronic payments twice a month.Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Description/Requirements:Evaluation/Treatment of Patients: Complete evaluation and treatment of patient in compliance with agency policy, law and regulation and within the Occupational Therapy Professional Scope of Practice. Assist in evaluating level of function and in developing the plan of care.Evaluate the home environment and makes appropriate recommendations. Help patients and families modify tasks, and use equipment to improve participation with their ADLs and improve their quality of life.Provides Continuity of Care: Ensure appropriate planning for patient discharge/reassessment and referral to other services according to agency policy and in compliance with law and regulation.Advise, consult and, when appropriate, instruct family and other agency personnel in patient’s therapy programCommunicates: Communicate with care coordinator and other health care professionals caring for the patient to ensure uninterrupted patient care.Observe records and report information on the patient’s condition to the attending physician and in the patient’s health record.Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants when assignedThis is an independent contractor position and the pay is $70-100 per visit. visits are 45 minutes in length.Locations: Los Angeles area ( Hollywood, West Hollywood, Korea Town, West LA, Santa Monica, Culver City, Beverly Hills, DTLA, Inglewood, Pasadena, Burbank, Long Beach, Glendale, Woodland Hills, The Valley, Alhambra, Covina Pomona)Orange county (Anaheim, Orange, Irvine, Newport, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Costa Mesa, Buena Park Cerritos, Huntington, Westminster)Minimum Required Qualifications:Current CA Occupational Therapist (OT) LicenseValid California Driver License/ with transportation insuranceJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $70.00 – $100.00 per visitCOME JOIN US! at A List Therapy Group.
